We know how much it means to place your home in someone else’s care. That’s why our mission is to honor that trust by providing seasonal residents across Sarasota and Manatee Counties with dependable Home Watch and concierge services that bring confidence and peace of mind while they are away.

We strive to be the trusted local presence our clients can count on and to help each home maintain a cared-for prescence that supports the safety and security of the communities we serve. In every responsibility entrusted to us, we are guided by integrity, reliability, and a genuine heart for service.

Meet Chris & Cathy

Chris and Cathy have spent much of their lives looking after people, properties, and their community.

Chris is a Bradenton local of 50+ years. His experience as a certified pest control technician taught him to notice the little signs others might overlook. Chris brings organization and clear communication to the Peabody Home Watch team with over 25 years in sales and management. Chris also lends his time to his church’s after-school program for underserved communities.

Cathy has a heart for service and an eye for detail. In 2007, she founded a nonprofit school and therapy center for children with autism, where she now serves as board chair. Her background in interior design, home staging, and luxury outdoor furniture consulting brings an extra measure of care to every property.

When they aren’t keeping watch, Chris and Cathy enjoy boating, serving through their church, and spending time with their children, Sean and Kevin, and their dog, Max. Chris enjoys a good game of pickleball (or eight), while Cathy is happiest with a book, in the garden, or by the pool.

Meet Sean & Kevin

Kevin is an essential part of the day-to-day care clients receive from Peabody Home Watch. As a Home Watch technician, he completes visual inspections, documents the condition of each property, and helps provide the reliable presence homeowners depend on while they are away. As a security agent at a luxury beach resort, Kevin was known for his dependability and work ethic. When Kevin’s off the clock, he enjoys drawing, reading at the library, and exploring museums.

Sean lends his expertise behind the scenes handling the marketing for Peabody Home Watch. With a master’s degree in marketing from the University of Florida and his own company, Peabody Marketing, he helps us get the word out about our Home Watch services.

Meet Max

Max is the Peabody family's dog and the inspiration behind the Peabody Home Watch mascot. Max is from Louisiana and was rescued by the Peabody family in 2013. Max enjoys walks around the family property, treats, and going to bed early.
